Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS
Mitsubishi Montero Sport offers a variety of trims to choose from, each model
with its distinct features that are specially chosen to meet your needs and lifestyles.
Compared to the bigger Montero, it is shorter and lower but still substantially
spacious. It sports a muscular and rugged body with long sleek lines and carries
oversized tires, fender flares and side-steps that speak of its gutsy performance.
In and out, it's all set for a great off-road adventure or even just for a around-the-town
ride.

The Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS is higher level trim, which comes with more
advanced parts and additional functional equipments compared to the base trim
ES and the mid-level LS. It comes with standard eight-spoke alloy wheels and 16"
all-season tires. Options for a two-wheel and four-wheel drive are available for
this model. Both the 2WD and the 4WD come with color-keyed fender flares and other
styling parts as well as a security system.
Powering this model is a 3.0L V6 165-hp engine. It is smooth and provides a responsive
acceleration performance comparable to bigger SUV's potent engines. You'll never
have to worry on freeway ramps, rough and winding roads; it has excellent handling,
which is improved by the new all-wheel-drive system. It is built on a truck chassis
with long front torsion bars, sturdy A-arms and muscular rear trialing arms that
give you assurance of this vehicle's dependability just when you need it.
The 2004 model is offered only in LS and the XLS trims, both in two and four-wheel
drive. The XLS models are available in Touring package, which features power sunroof,
a 210-watt Infinity Premium sound system, Platinum-finish interior, a limited-slip
rear differential and additional tire pressure monitoring system. This year model
boasts of an excellent forward visibility, good off-road performance and a seven-year,
100,000-mile pedestrian warranty.
